Advanced Teacher Training

Advanced RYS Yoga Alliance Teacher Training in Brooklyn!

 Altruism • Artistry • Refinement

In this advanced teacher training, Tara Glazier will focus on refining the teacher’s authentic voice and cultivating subtlety through experience. Using the Abhaya Method as a guide, teachers learn how to be more present, step back, create space, and teach to what is needed depending on who is in front of them.  This subtle approach to teaching and observation is a unique and advanced skill that empowers students and brings life back into systemized yoga classes.

The Abhaya way offers tools for understanding how to create a cohesive, integrated class structure.  Everything from the theme, the sequence, the pace, tone of the voice, and hands on adjustments is taught to connect back to the experience in the physical body and the overall mission.  TT’s learn and feel how to positively shift the energy of a group to create a transformational class.

Program includes: advanced hands on adjustments, therapeutics, advanced applied anatomy, teaching meditation and pranayama. Philosophy/ Science study centers around Non-Dual Tantra, (Pratybijna-Hrydyam), Ayurveda, and modern studies of neuroscience, trauma and yoga.
