Principles of Seated Poses and Twists Seated poses can be some of the most difficult poses to perform for the general public. Why is this? Why do you see such ease with standing poses and soon as your students sit down, they seem so inflexible and comfortable. A lot of this issue has to do with the pull of the hamstrings on the back and tightness in the hips. Learn specific principles for opening the hips and hamstrings that are rooted in the pelvis to allow or greater ease while sitting. Twists can be wonderfully rejuvenative and they can also irritate the back if done with poor alignment. Learn: To see various patterns in the pelvis Modifications for those who cannot sit comfortably Up leveling for those that are wide open Specific innovative sequencing to prepare for more advanced seated poses and twists Specific principles for twisting for optimal health of the back How to uplevel for more advanced Twists $50, $35 for alumni
