Vocal Workshop for Teachers and Presenters, Evening Sessions

Do you use your voice daily in your job? Find your true voice! This workshop teaches healthy vocal production to prevent strain and create a confident, resonant voice. Through relaxation, yoga and breathing exercises, we learn to support the voice with correct diaphragmatic breathing. To this we add vocal warm ups, sustained vowels, public speaking and diction. Together we will chant mantras, and enjoy the feeling of vocal resonance that comes from supporting our vocal tones. Students will leave with vocal warmups that they can use for a lifetime, ensuring confidence and preventing harm as they learn to enjoy speaking and chanting in a healthy way.
Four 75-minute sessions:
Wednesdays, July 18th - Aug 1st, 1:30-2:45 PM (see afternoon page)
Thursdays, July 19th - August 2nd, 7:30-8:45 pm
$160 for 4 sessions
