Potent-seed of Practice

Potent-seed of Practice

Led by: Cat McCarthy

From September 7, 2013 at 2:00 pm until September 7, 2013 at 5:00 pm at Dumbo

As we segue into the dark and fertile season of the fall, we have a chance to plant bright seeds of intention. The seed contains everything needed for growth within its outer shell. Inside there is inherent power. However, both inner terrain and external factors play a role in whether the seed is nourished enough to express its fullest potential. The yoga practice invites us to blossom with creativity, resiliency, and economy of effort. Under favorable conditions, dormancy can sprout into potency. In hip openers and arm balances, Cat will playfully guide you through a kernel of truth at the root of every pose, so that you germinate and express your entire seedy-self fully! Open to all levels. 5/5 (after 8/31)

What do The Three Stooges, four-leaf clover hunting, and wine tasting have in common? Yoga, according to Cat McCarthy. Whether telling a story on the silver screen or during class, Cat makes connections between everyday details and the big picture, weaving it all into a fun, poignant narrative...
