Learn Practices to Bring Balance to your Mind, Body and Emotions. Your true nature is neither anxious or depressed! Finding harmony in our emotional lives can be difficult. For many of us, being taught how to manage difficult emotions has been neglected. Rather, we may tend to suppress them or have a “just keep going” attitude towards life stressors. That’s when anxiety, depression, insomnia, or even relationship problems with self or others can arise.

This 2 hour yoga class/workshop will guide you to incorporate self-care and mood balancing techniques that you can integrate into your everyday life. Utilizing Life Force Yoga techniques, this workshop will teach you empirically-supported methods to bring balance to your emotional self.

You will come away with learning:

● Pranayama/breathwork for self-regulation
● Mudras/hand gestures to calm, energize and balance
● Asanas/postures to energize the body
● Chakra clearing meditation to calm the mind
● Yoga Nidra for relaxation and restoration
All levels welcome!

Kimberly comes to yoga from a psychology background, aiming to balance the complete self. She is a full time therapist in NYC, and found a dedication to yoga in 2008. She completed her teacher training with Julie Dohrman in 2014, and wanting to bring holistic practices into the therapy office, also trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), as well as Life Force Yoga Ⓡ. Integrating these various methods, Kimberly's classes will integrate healthy alignment, satisfying flow, along with practice to either calm, elevate, or bring balance to our mood.
