Yoga for Mood Balancing

Fatigued from the busy NYC lifestyle? Do you yearn for emotional balance? Do you feel tired when you wake up, or unable to sleep at night?
Whether you want more energy or needing ways to calm your mind and body, this two hour workshop will teach you ways to reduce your stress and mood balancing techniques you can use on your own!
Your true nature is neither anxious or depressed; this workshop will teach you empirically-supported techniques to bring balance to your emotional self.
You will come away with learning:
● Pranayama/breathwork for self-regulation
● Mudras/hand gestures to calm, energize and balance
● Asanas/postures to energize the body
● Chakra clearing meditation to calm the mind
● Yoga Nidra for relaxation and restoration
All levels welcome!
Kimberly comes to yoga from a psychology background, aiming to balance the complete self. She is a full time therapist in NYC, and found a dedication to yoga in 2008. She completed her teacher training with Julie Dohrman in 2014, and wanting to bring holistic practices into the therapy office, also trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), as well as Life Force Yoga Ⓡ. Integrating these various methods, Kimberly's classes will integrate healthy alignment, satisfying flow, along with practice to either calm, elevate, or bring balance to our mood.
