Teaching Yoga to Special Populations in Non-Profit Environments

In this 90 minutes workshop Yoga Teaches and Teachers-in-Training will learn how to reach out and teach yoga to populations that typically wouldn’t have access to yoga classes. This workshop will help you master ways to make your classes accessible and enjoyable for those with restrictions while handling the special circumstances of teaching in non-profit environments. Practice skillful modifications, assists and cues to create clear, strong guidance in your classes. Upon completion of this workshop, you will feel more confident in offering your skills to serve a wider, more varied community, and in taking your teaching career to new levels. You’ll also have a new understanding of effective ways to market yourself and your business, and to manage self care.

The workshop is taught by Eduardo Martinez-Diaz, 500 hr RYT and Optimized-Lifestyle Engineer with many years of experience working in non for profits organizations and teaching yoga to special populations. He currently offers health and wellness direction via yoga classes, lifestyle optimization and yoga health coaching.
