Led by: Tara Glazier + Kathryn Robinson
From January 17, 2025 at 6:15 pm until January 17, 2025 at 8:30 pm at Dumbo
Do you need some inspiration in a dark time? Are you looking for connection to yourself and to a greater holistic fabric of life again? Myth reminds us of our greatest human potential and the deepest facets of an awakened human experience.
Through myth we come to understand ourselves even more.
Join us for a sweet, intimate night of storytelling and breaking down some key iconography within the deities. The iconography is meant to empower us with tools for living with greater skill, agency, and heart. The mantra (“tool or mechanism” for the mind) is a portal to bring the iconography to life through our own bodies and voices.
We’ll begin with Ganesh, the gatekeeper and make our way through the relationship of Shiva/ Shakti, the beloveds Krishna/ Radha as well as a special monkey guest Hanuman.
Goddesses like Durga, Lakshmi and secret Mahavidya, Bhuveneshwari, the one who’s fabric connects all the worlds will close out the evening
Class will include some light contemplative moments, restorative (reclined) yoga and breathing to finish.
