Connecting to the Core
In this workshop we will explore our relationship to the core of the body, mind, and heart through the practice of asana, awareness, and meditation. The core of the asana practice will consist of both standing and hand balances. This balance practice will be supported and augmented by sequences of hip and shoulder openers, to maximize the ability to balance with graceful ease. This session will culminate in a practice of yoga nidra. Yoga nidra means “sleep of the yogi”. It is a guided meditation in which you allow your awareness to open to, settle in, and abide as the unbounded nature of your deepest consciousness. All levels of practitioners are welcome to attend.
