July 4th Workshop: The Freedom of Embodiment; Asana, Mythology, Breathwork and Meditation
Led by: Tara Glazier
From July 4, 2019 at 10:00 am until July 4, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Gowanus
We learn through yoga to love our bodies and to free our bodies our hearts and minds. By becoming more and more embodied, we have the delight to live fully within our limited human experience. Join Tara on this special day where we celebrate freedom and step more deeply into our body, breath, and experience of Yoga. We will share in a unique often untold story of Krishna as a human baby boy. His mother realizes while feeding him that he is not only her baby boy but the Divine Universal in the human form! We all have this capacity to bring the Universal Divine into our human experience just like Krishna. Through a skillfully taught sequence combining hip opening and backbends, interwoven with Krishna’s myth, Tara will guide students into their hearts.
