Danielle has been an enthusiastic practitioner of yoga since 2013. Last year Danielle took a sabbatical from her career in digital technology to focus solely on deepening her practice and completed the 200 Hr TT with ISHTA Yoga in NYC and shortly thereafter began teaching. She continues her education and personal practice at ISHTA while also exploring and learning from a variety of lineages throughout NYC. Danielle is particularly enthusiastic about sharing how the practice of self-study and meditation supports personal transformation and an overall sense of well-being. For Danielle, yoga is a framework and refinement process for developing strength and flexibility in the body, a more conscious relationship to the mind, learning how to approach the external world from the highest self, and generally living a more balanced and loving existence. Danielle believes Western culture would benefit greatly from the ancient wisdom and traditions of the East. Her intention is to share her spiritual journey and play an integral part in educating students about the practice of yoga, and how the teachings can be applied both on and off the mat. Interior design, her cat, books, fresh-cut flowers and exploring the world are a few of Danielle’s other favorite things!
