Emily Kiberd, a doctor of chiropractic medicine, has been practicing yoga for the last decade. Her keen appreciation and knowledge of the physical body are evident in her own practice and deeply infuse her playful but powerful, light-hearted teachings. Her classes focus on maintaining the joy of the beginner's mind (no matter how experienced the practitioner) while creating inner spaciousness in the mind, heart and body. Emily lives her life of yoga off the mat as she continually searches, learns and engages in self-study. Her commitment to yoga has taken her around the world as she studies with her beautiful teachers. Emily bows with gratitude at the feet of all of her teachers: Tara Glazier, Elena Brower, Sianna Sherman, BJ Galvan, and Lisa Mae Osborn (her first teacher). Emily recently completed the 200 hour teacher training with Tara at Abhaya and is registered with the Yoga Alliance.
