When Emily began her yoga journey, it was in an attempt to heal past injuries and reconcile years of being hard on her body. As a former equestrian, it was a fateful day back in the saddle after many years absent that she realized the degree of damage done. Through a dedicated practice of mindfulness, humility and playful movement, not only her body began to heal, but her heart and mind blossomed too. Yoga became a means of self-expression and unconditional love: its a seed she hopes to plant for her students both on and off the matt. She completed her 200 hour yoga training with Abhaya yoga, which focuses on the philosophy of Fear Less, Love More. Emily's classes blend an easeful vinyasa flow with alignment based principles and an awareness of the subtle body, encouraging students to get curious, listen to their intuition and explore their capabilities.
