Maliyah Gramata-Jones
Maliyah Gramata-Jones is a multidisciplinary artist, activist, and yogi. A poetic revolutionary walking towards purpose, peace, and harmony in all of her projects. Originally from Cincinnati Ohio, Maliyah has made the world her playground. She served as an arts diplomat teaching and performing around Germany, Poland, Japan, Canada, and every corner of the United States. Maliyah traveled to Koh Samui, Thailand to study yoga and meditation. There she became a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher under the tutelage of a lifelong yogini, a Buddhist nun, and a Turkish DJ. Maliyah teaches Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Restorative yoga and is a certified truama-informed instructor. Maliyah’s practice is spirit-centered, influenced by dance, kundalini yoga, and a soulful playlist. Maliyah makes it her priority to make her classes a space for all races, body types, and gender identities. Outside of the studio, she’s taught students at-risk, at BLM vigils, DEAI conferences, and for free on Instagram
