Nicole Roerick (RYT), originally from Fargo, ND, is a passionate teacher and yogini. She found yoga through dance and has benefitted from it in more ways than she thought possible. She has been practicing for the past 7 years and has really deepened her practice since her 200 hour certification at Yoga Effects in 2010. She has studied mostly Vinyasa styles but has worked with many Anusara and Iyengar teachers, which comes through in her teaching. She focuses on working towards properalignment and muscle usage in the body while also focusing on individual needs and adjustments. Her teaching is fluid and direct, but she is also very light hearted. Teaching excites her and she is always making efforts to adjust students and build a strong relationship with her students to better their practice. She gives much gratitude to some of her teachers that helped deepen her knowledge of thepractice and teaching of yoga including: Kate Greer, Richmond Dickson, Jason Lobo, and KK Ledford. In addition to her yoga life, she is also pursuing dance choreography and performance, Nicole Roerick Collective, and has her MFA and BFA in dance. She believes that both of these worlds are connected and intertwined with one another and hopes to utilize all that she has and give it to others.
