Sarah’s journey into the world of movement began at age two, in the water, splashing and delighting in the fluidity of physical expression. After twenty years of swimming, open-ocean adventures, and triathlons, Sarah began training in yoga as a way to deepen her relationship with her body and continue to integrate mind, body, and spirit. It took five years of personal practice and a move across the country for her to beginyoga teacher training—one of the best decisions she’s made to date. In 2013, Sarah moved to Brooklyn, New York and completed the 100-hour Immersion series and 200-hour teacher training with Tara Glazier and Aaron Angel at Abhaya Yoga. Sarah is also a certified Raw Food Chef and holistic Detox Coach.Sarah's classes focus on finding your own way home inside of your body, and expanding your creativity and expression through movement, mindfulness, and alignment. Every time she finds herself in a bind, she loves to repeat the phrase, And now, we begin the practice of yoga, from the Yoga Sutras — every moment, every new experience is a chance to begin, again.
