Yoga, as much as it offers promises of unbounded freedom and delight, also demands that we anchor ourselves in our dignity with discipline through our dedicated efforts over a long period of time. Explore your own relationship to yoga in this dynamic, challenging and inspiring weekend of asana studies.

The Breath and the Spirit: Introduction to Pranayama 8:15-9:15pmPranayama is known for its soothing and calming effects on the nervous system. While the subject matter is vast, getting started in pranayama is simple, down-to-earth and immediate. A meaningful practice is as close to you as your very breath, in fact! Join Christina Sell for an introductory pranayama class designed to help the new and experienced practitioner enjoy the benefits of conscious breathing. Expect instruction, practice, a period of silent introspection and a long savasana.

Christina will teach an open class 1/4 6:30-8:00pm - Dignity: Hip OpeningThis class will emphasize seated forward bends and hip opening postures as a way to go deeper into the chamber of the heart. Known for the introspective quality they create, forward bends quiet the mind, nourish the nervous system and calm the spirit. Enjoy strong work, detailed alignment and hip opening postures to help you unwind from your week and prepare for pranayama, meditation and the deeper work of the weekend.Regular class prices apply
