Intro to Yoga Series - Monday Sessions

Welcome beginners of all ages! Abhaya offers an approachable way to take that first step into yoga. Yoga has been proven to not only help with flexibility and strength but also reduce high blood pressure, anxiety, sleeplessness, and much more! Let Abhaya's skillful teachers guide you through an easy to understand full spectrum class that includes joint warm ups, standing poses (to build bone density), hip/ hamstring/ quad stretches, light backbend (to help with posture), and restful poses (benefits nervous system and mind clarity). The Abhaya Method is used as a framework to give a specific therapeutic focus each week that integrates the proper use of the breath.
*Also appropriate for those who want a re-start, those with injury, or various conditions that hinder the ability for regular/ open classes.
