As we age, we often live with multiple health factors that challenge our movement range, but yoga can come to the rescue. You're never too stiff or too fragile to practice yoga, and regular practice can lubricate your joints, strengthen your bones, and improve your balance.
In this workshop we'll practice basic poses specially selected and adapted for those with osteoarthritis and/or osteoporosis. Ellen has authored books on these two topics and has extensive experience teaching seniors. She will empower you to become stronger and more confident for a vibrant life of movement. Appropriate for any student experiencing the aches and pains that may come with aging or for the Yoga Teacher looking for special techniques for working with aging bodies.
