Lea Bender brings over twenty years of personal practice, a love of The Yoga Sutras and a background in circus, physical theater and Pilates to her teaching. She teaches a range of different styles from Vinyasa to Restorative, but at the root of every class is the intention to help students tap into the sacred nature of our human experience through connection to body and breath. Lea received her 200-hour RYT certification at Jaya Yoga Center and her 300-hour RYT certification at Abhaya. Lea is grateful for the knowledge passed down to her through her anatomy teacher Irene Dowd and the many great yoga and meditation teachers she has had the honor to study with on her path, including Tara Brach, Yoganand Michael Carroll, Cyndi Lee and Carla Stangenberg. www.leabenderyoga.com
