Inner Aviation: Flying Lessons and Arm Balances

Inner Aviation: Flying Lessons and Arm Balances

Led by: Cat McCarthy

From July 31, 2010 at 2:00 pm until July 31, 2010 at 5:00 pm at Dumbo

Confront your fear...summer is here! Along with more daylight, we have the chance to align ourselves with more lightness of being. It can be scary when life turns us upside down and stops us in our tracks. But luckily with yoga, we practice embracing these mental barriers with more levity of heart. Through playful inversions and arm balances, we will explore the inner trust, which grounds us enough to cultivate skillful aviation in body, mind, and spirit. In this 3-hour workshop, Cat will guide us through a variety of poses, to experience rooting our hands like another pair of feet and encourage the inner body to rise like a buoyant bird or a soaring dragonfly. Come spread your courageous wings and take flight!
