Rekindling the Flame: Bhava-Rasa Yoga

Rekindling the Flame: Bhava-Rasa Yoga

Led by: Kathryn Robinson

From May 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm until May 27, 2017 at 5:00 pm at Dumbo

Has your practice dulled? Do you feel a lack of connection in your life? If passion for your practice has dried up, you may be lacking rasa. Rasa means juice or essence. Bhav means true feeling state. By connecting to how we are actually feeling and tuning into our inner bhav in any given moment, we create fertile ground for the seeds of our practice to mature and fully ripen.

This workshop invites you to show up just as you are and tune into the essence of your experience using all of your senses. The Bhava Rasa practice will be a tasting menu that engages you in all the flavors of experience. Expect a dynamic and diverse yoga practice informed by the three primary yogic rasas: Vira (power), Vringara (love), and shanti (serenity). This will be a journey through the senses leaving you well-nourished, enlivened, and relaxed.
