Who am I: Inquiry & Self-Realization

Led by: Manoj Chalam

From April 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm until April 20, 2013 at 5:00 pm at Dumbo

We will bring in statues of Hindu/Buddhist deities and relate their symbolisms to archetypes within us. We are going to analyze the great statement in the Vedas “Tattavamasi,” which, literally translated, means “You are That.” In order to understand the significance of this statement we will analyze each aspect of it. The goal of analyzing and understanding the self is self-realization, or liberation from worldly bondages. This knowledge has the power to make you immortal.

The Joy of ChantingWe will explore the spiritual meaning and significance of chanting through both Vedic chants and Kirtans.**Saturday session only open to teacher trainees, teachers and advanced students.
