Urban Retreats

Mukti offers silent retreats to nurture the emergence of spirit into consciousness. Retreat is for those who are willing to set aside personal concerns and to give all of themselves to that which is unconditioned that reveals Itself to be the one true reality of each of us and all of existence.
This retreat offers a departure from one’s usual daily activities as well as an opportunity to share a common intention to discover the truth of what is. To support this intention, all retreats are held in deep silence, except for the time together in daily group meetings. In addition to meetings, the daily schedule includes several periods of meditation and Qi Gong led by Mukti. Meetings, meditation and movement, along with shared intention create a synergistic combination suited to penetrating heartfelt questions for Self remembrance.
The schedule will allow opportunity to explore and enjoy this area of Brooklyn near the waterfront.
As it is a non-residential retreat, we invite all those attending to maintain silence or quietude as much as is feasible when not in residence at the retreat site. Holding that intention for the weekend will contribute to the depth and presence available to all those attending.

The retreat begins with registration, 3-5pm on Friday, August 23 and ends on Sunday, August 25 at 3:15pm.
An optional yoga class will be offered Saturday evening at 6:30 for an additional fee.
All participants are required to attend the entire retreat.

Urban Yoga Retreat with Mukti
Mukti

In 2006 Adyashanti gave his blessings for his wife, Mukti, to formally share the Dharma with others. In 2007 he invited her to become Associate Teacher of Open Gate Sangha, a role which she has warmly embraced.

Mukti offers dokusan (or private meetings for satsang inquiry) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the San Jose area. She also offers dokusan by phone to those who live outside the greater San Francisco Bay Area. To schedule a private dokusan meeting or phone meeting with Mukti, please call (408) 728-3839.

Mukti also offers group satsang and intensives by invitation. If you are interested in hosting Mukti in your area, please email Randy.

Annie Gray, now Mukti, has been a student of Adyashanti since 1996. Previously, she studied the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda for over 20 years. In her own teachings, Mukti points audiences back to their natural state of wholeness or undivided consciousness. Both licensed in Acupuncture and certified to teach Hatha Yoga, Mukti has a love of the whole of experience, in form, as well as the formless.
